Basic Driving School

Ages 8+
55 inches or Taller

The driving school is offered every Saturday and Sunday morning at 10:00AM, it's $50.00 per participant. Please arive by 9:45 as a membership form will need to be filled out for anyone in the class. You can either come down the day of, or make a reservation ahead of time. If you want to make a reservation you can either come down and set one up in person, or call in and do it over the phone. In order to make a reservation we require the full payment for the class to be put down. There is a maximum of 8 participants per Basic Driving school, so if you want to guarentee your spot you need to make a reservation.

Includes:

• A 20 minute in person briefing over the flags, rules, and basics of kart control by one of our instructors.
• Two ten minute follow the leader sessions where we teach the kids the racing line for the track as well as stop any bad driving habits from forming. Once the kids lose control of the kart we talk to them individually about what they did to make the kart react the way it did, and how to aproach the situation next time.
• One ten minute session with just the kids out on the track to prove that they can handle the karts without an instructor leading them.
• A Sykart membership to prove they completed the class which will allow them to run in any normal heat at a discounted rate of $13 per 10 minute race as opposed to $17.
